Two years have rapidly passed since Disclosure’s breakthrough debut LP Settle took the globe by storm. So it comes as no surprise that the UK duo’s forthcoming sophomore long player Caracal is one of the year’s most eagerly awaited albums. Thankfully, the group has diligently released a few teasers over the past few months to ensure our appetites are sufficiently whetted. First up was the infectious house banger aptly titled “Bang That,” followed by the shimmering electro-soul euphoria of “Holding On” featuring the incomparable Gregory Porter.

Now, much to the collective bliss of soulheads worldwide, the Lawrence Brothers have dropped the latest offering from Caracal today. “Omen” signals the duo’s glorious reunion with the noticeably svelte crooner Sam Smith, whose career first took off nearly three years ago with the instant classic “Latch” and has since ascended to stratospheric heights of critical and commercial acclaim. Recent vocal cord issues be damned, Smith is in signature soulful form on this slinky smooth, gorgeous groove, which is destined to light up airwaves and dancefloors worldwide, all summer long.

Indulge your ears and eyes by watching the video for “Omen” below, which represents the second chapter in the group’s planned three-part video trilogy (“Holding On”, also available to view below, was the first). And be sure to keep your eyes peeled for Disclosure’s new LP Caracal due September 25 on PMR/Island Records.
