Last week, an incredible development broke Maya Rudolph will have a variety show coming to NBC! The Saturday Night Live alumna, and daughter of famed soul-soprano Minnie Ripperton, is slated to have her show air on May 19th. This incredible engagement will feature Raphael Saadiq as the bandleader and Janelle Monae as musical guest!
The show has yet to be picked up as a regular season runner. However with the weight of SNL producer Lorne Michaels behind it, we will hedge our bets!
