We know folks are just about to get off from work on the East Coast at least in the U.S. However, we implore you to take the next 5:41 to watch this incredible video featuring the unique technique by Alexa Meade Art. The video depicts two Black men, who have been painted as if they were a part of a larger…well..painting. Throughout the video, the two exhibit sunny body manipulations and movements courtesy of movement artists Jon Boogz and Charles Riley aka Lil Buck. The overarching story is one of two young men navigating the World and seemingly being ignored and rebuffed by their community, which include some folks that look like them but many who don’t. Set against a simple melancholy groove, the piece culminates in an ending that has sadly become too common. Amazing work!
