Remembering Gerald Wilson

Last week, the legendary composer and arranger passed away due to pneumonia. He was 96. Looking over his storied career, he worked with such influential acts from Duke Ellington, to Ella Fitgerald, to Ray Charles. This segment from NPR’s Fresh Air with Terry Gross features an interview he had with Gross, as well as a sample of his song “Gerry”.
