Lloyd’s ability to make smooth and delicate R&B made him a pop favorite towards the end of the Aughts. He returns now to the music scene with a mellow, seductive song. “On Call” brings together Lloyd’s easy going vocals, with this twinge that reminds one of a 70s Blaxploitation film. He is joined by the talented Big K.R.I.T. to really bring the track together, and ends on a whole other serene beat and sound.
