In a trip to a psychadelic soul era, Jennifer Hudson brings us this new track “It’s Your World”. The song feels like a day of R&B gone by, with the marimbas, electric bass, and dance-inspiring beat. Of course Hudson’s classically strong voice adds much flare and gusto to the number. And as an added bonus, R. Kelly comes in to the song almost 2/3rds in to it, with an uncharacteristically low guttural voice. Altogether, the two R&B heavy weights make a pleasurable, true soul track. This has got us very excited for the coming album!
