This is a very important film and moment in Sting’s career. Having left The incredibly successful Police rock band to pursue a jazzier direction, this documentary captures the process and result of his effort to evolve as a musician and prepare for the release of Dream of the Blue Turtles and subsequent tour. Featuring legendary players like keyboarding Kenny Kirkland and saxophonist Branford Marsalis, this is a very enjoyable and educational film which you will certainly enjoy.
