The documentary highlights some of the titans of the genre including George Clinton, Dam Funk, Nona Hendrix and many more. Narrated by Roots leader, Questlove, the film debuted at this year’s South By South festival in Austin, Texas. We will keep you posted as the film nears its official launch later this year. We are really enjoying this series by CentricTV, which features interviews with living legends.  This episode features music legend, Ronald Isley.  Distinguishing itself from TVOne’s Unsung by capturing artists while they are still with us, this series provides incredible insight into the history behind the hits.  In this episode, Mr. Isley shares first hand stories of his 50 years in the industry from his early days working with artists like Jimi Hendrix, the Beatles and Elton John to his more recent success with R.
